EVANGELISTIC CENTRE

The Evangelistic Centre witnessed tremendous growth with people from all walks of life coming together to worship God in TRUTH and SPIRIT. There is another phenomenon worth mentioning about the new church: The Evangelistic Centre had suddenly turned out to be a strong and successful HUB of church-planting across the capital city, with the new believers willingly and sacrificially contributing towards the Mission Fund – for the purchase of land and construction of new churches and parsonages.

In PEROORKADA, on the side of the busy road to the new Civil Station building, we established our first branch Sunday School and it was developed as a full-fledged church within a year (Here the Church building was constructed by the AG congregation).

Then, VETTUCAD, in the close vicinity of the Trivandrum International Airport; VALIYATHURA church as the SILVER JUBILY MEMORIAL (25 years) of the Evangelistic centre – was established near the SEA-BRIDGE.

A little, north on the Beach-Road the PUTHUKURICHY Church and closer to the National Highway KEEZHATTINGAL Church were started forthwith. Within the ISRO Range, God enabled us to establish THUMBA Church – the church building is being constructed.

In the middle of the business thriving area of MANVILA also God raised a church. Again, a little away towards the south, we started the POONTHURA Church and a beautiful Church hall is completed recently.

On going church planting process in Anchuthengu and Chirayinkeezhu

At present missionary work and the church planting are on in the suburb of Anchuthengu and Chirayinkeezhu, both places are in coastal belt of the Thiruvananthapuram District. We are extending our financial support to these mission bases and also visiting the stations so as to encourage the missionary activities.

One of the notable achievements of the Plammoodu church is nothing other than its missionary zeal. The congregation witnessed tremendous growth with people from all walks of life coming together to worship the Lord in spirit and truth.

At the same time there seen a strong desire among the believers for the planting of new churches in the outskirts of the capital city especially among the unreached places, and the believers willing to contribute generously to the mission fund.
